Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown enters Season 6 with a substantial update, deployed on 25 March 2026.
KT Racing confirms close to 350 fixes, with most of the work focused on the Hong Kong and Ibiza maps. Environmental issues have been addressed, missing textures restored, and several problematic areas reworked. Performance has also been improved, particularly on Xbox Series X|S where Performance mode now targets 1440p, while the PC version benefits from better frame rate stability and refined shadow management. Everyday details have not been overlooked either, with adjustments to traffic behaviour and long-standing issues such as traffic lights now corrected.
Beyond technical work, Season 6 also brings new content. A Detective mode is introduced through contract-based missions, Body Kits make their debut with Audi Sport Performance parts for the Audi R8 Coupé RWS, and several quality-of-life improvements are added — including a GPS system now capable of handling up to ten waypoints.
Within this update, the Alpine A110 R Ultime joins the game’s line-up. It arrives alongside models such as the Pagani Huayra Roadster, Pininfarina B95, Lamborghini Temerario and Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series.
The Alpine A110 R Ultime is integrated through the Solar Pass and is unlocked from level 1 in its premium track. There is no dedicated event attached to its release; the car is simply added to the seasonal garage.
The version selected is the most extreme iteration of the A110 currently available. In-game, it stands apart from other variants with a dedicated presentation and specific setup. Customisation mirrors the real car, from exterior colours to interior configurations, with a level of detail consistent with the production model.
The engine sound, however, remains a work in progress. An update is planned to improve this aspect.
With this addition, Solar Crown introduces the A110 directly in its most developed form, without including earlier versions.

The game is available across several platforms, with multiple editions depending on the level of content included, such as Solar Pass access and additional bonuses.
Higher editions typically include additional content, including access to the Solar Pass required to unlock cars such as the A110 R Ultime from the start of the season.
